If you are looking for fun and affordable ways to fill your Saturday while safely social distancing, join in on some of the events being hosted around Beaumont! 

Visit the John Gray Duck Pond located outside of the Herman Iles Building on campus
Grab your Cardinal bestie and have a picnic out by our John Gray Duck Pond on campus. Enjoy the shady trees, flowing water and hang out with the ducks! Take a look at our campus map and make your way over to the pond. 

The Dishman Art Museum: Russian ART / Soviet DESIGN Exhibit
The concept behind this exhibition is to contrast two periods of 20th century Russian art, Russian Imperial art, including the white diaspora, with the advent of the Soviet regime after the October Revolution and the assassination of Tsar Nicholas II and his family. The Dishman Art Museum is free and open to the public. For the latest information on Covid-19 visiting guidelines and hours of operation,  check the Exhibition page.

Sip and Shop for the Holidays at 11431 Highway 90, Beaumont across from thee ExxonMobil from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
There will be vendors selling crafts, arts, clothes and many other items. Door prizes, food, kids activities, plant sale. Indoors and free admission. 

Girls’ Haven Gumbo Drive-Thru at 3380 Fannin St. from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Girls' Haven will be having their 26th Annual Gumbo Festival! You will have the option of choosing fresh or frozen chicken and sausage gumbo. Each meal will come with rice and crackers and is $15 a quart.
