Center for Resiliency SmartStorm Training Backpack Distributions

Date: Every Wednesday now through Wednesday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Cherry Engineering Building, Singature Center Suites (front lobby)

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Center for Resiliency distributes disaster backpacks for participants who have completed the SmartStorm disaster training modules, while supplies last. College of Arts and Sciences to Host Open House

Date: Monday, Mar. 4, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ College of Arts and Sciences Office of the Dean will be open to all faculty and staff on Mar. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can drop by the office for individual meetings with Dean Maurer, Associate Dean Lei, and Associate Dean Alm. Light refreshments will be served.

Cardinal Activities Board & Lamar Dining to Host Centennial Celebration

Date: Tuesday, Mar. 5, noon - 4 p.m.
Location: Brook-Shivers Dining Hall (front lawn)

Join Lamar Dining and the Cardinal Activities Board on the front lawn of the dining hall on Tuesday, Mar. 5 for a celebration. From noon until 4 p.m. there will be a wipeout inflatable, petting zoo, games, treats and more.

There will also be $5 entry into the Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, featuring a seafood boil. for more information on this and all other dining events.

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for Individuals with Dementia

Is someone you love living with a dementia diagnosis? The speech-language pathology clinic here at Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers free cognitive stimulation therapy groups for individuals with dementia. 2024 TSUS Regents’ Awards

Several awards from the Texas State University System (TSUS) are now open for applications. Faculty are invited to apply for the TSUS Regents’ Professor Award and the TSUS Regents’ Teacher Award. Staff are also  invited to apply for the TSUS Regents’ Staff Excellence Award.

Lamar Audiology Clinic Services Available on Campus

Now Hiring Â鶹ÊÓƵ Full-time Staff as Auxiliary Crew Members
