The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Speech and Hearing Clinic offers audiology services as a benefit of employment to employees, their insurance-covered dependents, or to currently enrolled students, with no out-of-pocket expenses. Prepare for hurricane season with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Center for Resiliency Smartstorm disaster training and receive a backpack complete with emergency supplies to assist you and your family in the event of a disaster. Bring your participation verification to the Signature Center suites located in the Cherry Engineering Building on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Spindletop Boomtown Museum is back with the second concert of our Boomtown Summer Serenade series, featuring local band Ole Lonesome. Join us on June 21 for a night of live music, food, drinks, and local art vendors. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., music starts at 8 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee, and Â鶹ÊÓƵ students enter for free.

Join Spindletop Boomtown Museum for an evening of live music by Jamie Talbert, food, and local artist vendors at Boomtown Summer Serenade. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; and music is from 8 to 10 p.m. There will be a $5 general entry fee and free entry for Â鶹ÊÓƵ students. Â鶹ÊÓƵ students will receive a free food voucher with a valid student ID.

TURTLE ON A POST: MEMOIR OF TEXAS STATE SENATOR CARL PARKER will be available May 31. Over two years, Carl Parker recorded stories of his career, and his wife, Beverly, typed them up. Jim Sanderson then assembled, organized, and edited these notes into a memoir. The memoir can be found on Amazon.
