KVÂ鶹ÊÓƵ Pop-up Exhibit On View Through August 3
"KVÂ鶹ÊÓƵ: Rewind…In Pictures" will be on view at the Dishman Art Museum through Saturday, August 3. The exhibit features archival photographs and memorabilia that highlight the early days (and people) of KVÂ鶹ÊÓƵ long before computer automation, digital media and internet streaming.

Prepare for hurricane season with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Center for Resiliency Smartstorm disaster training and receive a backpack complete with emergency supplies to assist you and your family in the event of a disaster. Bring your participation verification to the Signature Center suites located in the Cherry Engineering Building on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Join Spindletop Boomtown Museum for an evening of live music by Jamie Talbert, food, and local artist vendors at Boomtown Summer Serenade. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; and music is from 8 to 10 p.m. There will be a $5 general entry fee and free entry for Â鶹ÊÓƵ students. First Generation Connections Launches This Fall
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Office of Strategic Initiatives is launching First Generation (First Gen) Connections this fall. The purpose is to engage first-generation students using holistic approaches to advance curricular and co-curricular outcomes and transform their college experience. The First Gen Connections program is for students whose parent(s) did not complete a four-year degree. Learn more at lamar.edu/firstgen.

New Course Evaluation System Launching Summer 2024
Starting Summer 2024, Â鶹ÊÓƵ will begin using a new student course evaluation system from Watermark. Students will receive an email inviting them to participate.
