Leader at Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions to speak

The ExxonMobil Executive in Residence Program presents Chad Briggs, Â鶹ÊÓƵ alum and vice president of sales and technology at Air Liquide Global Engineering and Construction Solutions, to speak at the College of Business at 12:30 p.m. October 5 in the Galloway Business Building, Landes Auditorium.  The event is free and open to the public.

"Our alumni can relate to our students in a way that faculty and staff can't. They were sitting in the same classrooms, walking in their same steps. The students will learn from our successful alumni how to build a similar path to success," said Kayce Stutzman, marketing coordinator for the College of Business.

Briggs has worked for Air Liquide since 1997 and was appointed to vice president in July 2016. He has held a variety of management positions across the globe, such as region vice president of the Americas and project director for change management projects in Paris, Houston and Frankfurt. He has also led several mechanical integrity and maintenance turnaround projects in North America.

Briggs is the second to speak in a series of four presentations at the College of Business this semester. Helen Sharkey, a professional ethics speaker, preceded him. Other speakers to present at the College of Business are Alex Banayan, world’s youngest venture capitalist, October 26 and Jennifer Warren, Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumnae and chief marketing officer of At Home, November 9.

The College of Business ExxonMobil Executive in Residence Program brings successful leaders with unique business experience to the campus to share their knowledge with both students and faculty members.
