University Studies - Multidisciplinary - Leadership Studies
Offered as both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts, University Studies comprises various concentrated degrees that allow you to custom-tailor your course work to suit individual needs or to follow a flexible course of study within related academic disciplines.
Additional degree tracks are currently available and in development so that our students will have many opportunities to select the best degree for their personal, academic, and career goals. Students who were under the then Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences and Bachelor of General Studies programs, are encouraged, but not required, to transition to the University Studies program.
The degree is offered both online and on-campus through the departmental program and entirely online through the AP program.
Degrees designed for maximum flexibility
University Studies works with students to ensure they are given the maximum credit possible for work already completed, whether academic courses, technical credit, or workplace experience. Students may apply up to 36 hours of technical credit to a University Studies degree. Technical credit must be from a regionally accredited university and grades in transferred technical credit courses must be a “C” or higher. As each University Studies concentration accepts a specific number of technical credits based on required coursework, students should discuss technical credit with an academic advisor in the Department of University Studies.
