Incoming first-year students must have a ranking in the top 10% of their high school graduating class and GPA of 4.25 or higher (unweighted GPA of 3.85 or higher) in order to be considered for admission to the Reaud Honors College. Test scores are highly encouraged as part of our holistic review process. Exemplary applications usually have a minimum SAT of 1260 (EBRW + math) or minimum ACT of 27. Reaud Honors College applicants must first apply and be accepted for admission to Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

To be considered for the Presidential and the Southeast Texas Legends scholarships, students should separately submit materials for those scholarships to Office of Student Aid by: January 15.
To be considered for the , students should separately apply materials for that scholarship to TLS by: February 15.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and community involvement, with consideration also given to academic major, leadership ability and specialized skills (athletics, marching band, music, etc.).
Students who have completed at least 12 hours of academic courses at Â鶹ÊÓƵ (or another college or university) and who have a GPA of 3.7 or higher may also apply for acceptance into the Reaud Honors College.
You are ineligible if you have taken any college readiness courses. If you have 45 or more credit hours, you may still submit an application and our advisor will review your transcript to ensure you have an honors pathway.
Applications will be reviewed after grades are posted for the semester in which students applied.
