Event Reservations

These student assistants oversee the operation of the SSC Event Services office.

They provide basic and advanced office support including greeting visitors, answering phones, approving campus postings, filing papers, and running errands.

They also process event requests and schedule space reservations, input reports, and fill work orders. They must maintain awareness of Â鶹ÊÓƵ's daily event schedule and all related information.

Staff Duties

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Respond to all inquiries regarding event requests.
  • Process event requests through our reservation software
  • Send quotes and invoices as needed.
  • Work closely with the event services staff and the operations assistants.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to complete required daily work.
  • Enthusiastic, clear, helpful, and informed communication over the phone.
  • Follow and enforce the Setzer Student Center policies and procedures
